Disa’s Plot is one of the three Main Quests that you will receive after speaking to Ser Brant in the Seat of the Sovran quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. To put an end to Queen Regent Disa’s schemes, you are tasked to find evidence of her misdeeds.
Disa’s Plot walkthrough
After completing the Seat of the Sovran Quest, you can unlock the Disa’s Plot quest by choosing the “Tell me of the queen regent.” dialogue option.
Choosing this dialogue option will make Ser Brant tell you that he needs help in uncovering what the Queen Regent is plotting.
Ending the conversation will give you the quest objective “Search for evidence of Disa’s misdeeds.”

When the Disa’s Plot quest starts, a marker should show up in your map. The quest marker is located in Vernworth’s castle.
First, wait until dawn or nightfall to proceed with the quest.
Once the sun has settled down, go to Vernworth Castle found south of Vernworth. It should be right past Noble Quarter and can easily spotted with its large walls.
When you walk past the gate entrance, your Pawns will stay behind. As it turns out, Pawns cannot follow you in the palace and Palace grounds.
Don’t worry, they will come back when you get out of the palace grounds.
Upon entering Vernworth Castle’s palace grounds, you are greeted by a female Vermundian Knight working under Ser Brant named Sonia.
Sonia will lead you to a back entrance leading to the Guardhouse. In here you can find a chest containing a Marcher’s Armor Set: Marcher’s Helm, Marcher’s Armor, and Marcher’s Cuirass.
Equip the Marcher’s Armor Set so you can walk around inside Vernworth Castle without getting stopped or harassed by Vermundian knights.
Now, go past the doorway further into the castle.
However, do not go up the stairs right in front of you. Path right and across the hallway to get into the another room. You will see a staircase leading upward, so use it to get to the second floor of Vernworth Castle.
Once you’re on the second floor of Vernworth Castle, follow the marker. Simply move forward and then left until you find Vernworth Castle Offices.
Get inside Vernworth Castle Offices and look for an item on one of the desks. Pick up the item, which is shown to be a Torn Letter.
Sven talks to you and helps you out as guards start to investigate the area in Vernworth Castle.
Escaping The Castle
While Sven distracts the guards, get out Vernworth Castle Offices through the window. Jump through the window and slide down the roof.Then, immediately run away and outside the Vernworth Castle.
Once you’re outside Vernworth Castle, you can reequip your original armor and return to your Pawns.
Report back to Ser Brant and deliver the Torn Letter to finish the Disa’s Plot quest.
