Saint of the Slums is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The trigger to the quest begins with a cutscene near the Gracious Hands. To begin the quest itself, talk to the nun named Elena, who requests your assistance in gathering medicinal ingredients.
Saint of the Slums Walkthrough
One of the times you try to walk past the Gracious Hands, you will be interrupted by a cutscene between one of the nuns and a beastren couple.
The beastren couple seem to be complaining to the Nun about how their supposed care only made their child more sick than healthy. Eventually, their conversation ends with the couple agreeing to let their child stay in their care.
Follow the nun, named Elena, who asks you for help to gather medicinal ingredients to create medicine for their patients. You can agree or decline to postpone the quest.

Once you agree, the quest Saint of the Slums starts.
You will now need to gather 3 Miasmites and deliver them to her.
Miasmites can be gathered from phantoms that show up in the wild at night.
So, wait until the sun sets and defeat the Phantoms so you can gather Miasmites.
Defeating Phantoms isn’t as straightforward as it seems; you will need to attack them with magic or elemental imbued physical attacks.
Once you have all 3 Miasmites delivered, Elena will thank you and request that she give you a tour of the place as a reward. Accept it to progress the quest immediately.

Follow Elena inside the Gracious Hands premises where she shows you Lubomir, a sickly person she is taking care of.
After Elena introduces you to her and she leaves, Lubomir will ask for your attention.
Apparently, Lubomir is suspicious of the Gracious Hands, and he seems to be growing sicker than healthier. He asks that you investigate more about the nuns and the Gracious Hands. This is the next task in your quest.
Step outside the Gracious Hands, and a nun named Lottie will talk to you.
She will tell you that the Gracious Hands have been taking care of the sick, but those who get worse are taken to the basement. You will also sense a hint of fear and doubt from her voice.
Now, go down to the lower levels of the Gracious Hands via the staircase in the building. Go into one of the rooms below with a door inside it. Usually, this door is locked, but it should now be passable with the quest triggered.
Go through the door to find another room where the patients with worse conditions are taken. Here you will find Lawrence and Monika. Speak with Lawrence until he tells you two names: Jehan and Bruno. Then, get in the room separated by a door with curtains to get the Unlabeled Medicine above the table and the Records of Treatment in the left shelf.
Head outside to find Jehan and Bruno. Jehan and Bruno can be found in the Tavern. Bruno will tell you that while they recovered, he was suspicious of the care he received. He also states that he witnessed the abbess (the nun) and a strange man meeting up in the square in the eastern part of Vernworth at night.
A new marked location should show up on your mini-map, and it is located just a little bit farther in front of Mildred’s home. Go to the said location at night and find Elena talking to a certain someone.
Elena gives something to Alois, the man she is meeting up with. Their conversation mentions a man named Lord Phaseus, who seems to be the source of the Unlabeled Medicine being given to Elena in return.
To travel to Checkpoint Rest Town, you can either walk west from Vernworth until you find the marked location, or ride the oxcart stationed at the west oxcart stand in Vernworth. We suggest you ride the oxcart to travel faster, and it will only cost you 200G anyway.
Once you reach Checkpoint Rest Town, go south and up to the house in the upper areas of the town. It should be the house behind Morris’ apothecary.
Once you get to Radcliff’s house, he will immediately talk to you and ask why you are in his home. This immediately puts you in the delivery screen, where you can give him the Unlabeled Medicine.
Give Radcliff the Unlabeled Medicine so he can verify its contents. However, it will take some time. So, return to him after at least one day.
Once Radcliff is done checking the medicine, he will tell you that it is “more poison than physick.” Go back to Lubomir with the new information.
Now that you have both the evidence from tailing Elena and the contents of the Unlabeled Medicine, return to the Gracious Hands to report back to Lubomir but find him nowhere he was originally at.

Find Lottie to find out that Lubomir has been moved down the sickroom as his illness has worsened.
Go down to the basement sickroom and unfortunately, you can’t properly make conversation with Lubomir. Instead, tackle Elena to have her arrested. Do this by holding down the Grab command and running toward Elena.
A cutscene will play out where a guard tells you that Elena has been arrested and put in jail. The quest officially ends, but this leaves Lubomir and the other people in the basement sickroom to their doomed fate. Not unless you do something about it.
Going back down to the basement sickroom and trying to talk to the patients there yields no result. So, first, go talk to Lottie in the Gracious Hands. She will judge you for getting Elena arrested but mainly because she cares about how the sick are going to be treated.
After speaking with Lottie, go to the Checkpoint Rest Town to contact Radcliff and ask for his help. He will request a payment sum of 3000G to help you out. Deliver the 3000G and he agrees.
Return to the Gracious Hands and you will see two people outside the building waiting for your return: Lottie and Lubomir.
Lubomir says his thanks and has seemingly recovered enough to be able to walk and talk normally. Lottie tells you that Ser Radcliff has come, and has told her to direct her gratitude towards you, the Arisen.
Lottie then rewards you for saving the patients.
This is one of the rare quests with a post-quest objective. However, be mindful that this objective can be missed and the patients will die if you don’t ask Radcliff to help in time.
