The Sorcerer’s Appeal WALKTHROUGH

20240412202035 1

When you first approach Myrddin’s Home, Myrddin will come out of the house and refuse to meet with you. Speak to the NPCs around the village and you will find out that Myrddin only allows visitors from astute individuals of noble stature or those with aptitude and interest in magic and sorcery.

How to Get In Myrddin’s Home

From the hints given by the residents of Checkpoint Rest Town, you may deduce that you have to wear a noble’s outfit: Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches.

While you can get into Myrddin’s Home through the balcony on the 2nd floor and the broken wall on its left, you need to get Myrddin on your good side to talk to him and start The Sorcerer’s Appeal quest.

With all these in mind, be sure to wear a Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches the next time you approach Myrddin’s Home. If done correctly, Myrddin will go outside of his house and welcome you to his home.

Noble Clothing Not Working

If you still can’t get Myrddin to welcome you inside his home while wearing the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches, you may need an item called the Ceremonial Cape. It can be found in a chest near the Cenotaph where Rodge was picking flowers in the Pack of Prey questline. Wear the Ceremonial Cape and return to Myrddin’s home.

Myrddin Bug

Still can’t get Myrddin to welcome you inside his house? This may be a bug. To solve this, return to the Title Screen and reload your game. Doing this should enable the regular interaction of Myrddin greeting you when you wear noble clothing or use a Sorcerer Vocation. This is a bug a lot of people seemingly have been experiencing.

Gather Grimoires for Myrddin

Once you are inside Myrddin’s home, he speaks to you and asks what your reason for coming to his place is. He then assumes that you are there to learn about magic and tasks you to find grimoires for him.

The grimoires Myrddin is looking for are the same ones Trysha, from Eini’s Home, is looking for. Fun fact! Myrddin is Trysha’s father!
