Vocations

The Vocation Frustration is a side quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The quest begins when first talk to the Klaus in Vernworth Vocation Guild.

Vocation Frustration WALKTHROUGH

When you first arrive in Vernworth, it is very important that you visit the Vocation Guild in the city. If you haven’t entered the building or spoken to the person at its counter, this quest remains available, as long as you haven’t started the true ending path of Dragon’s Dogma 2.

When you enter the Vocation Guild, talk to the man at the counter whose name is Klaus. Click on “Change Vocation,” even if you don’t intend to change your Vocation or skills.

After closing the window, Klaus will tell you about the guild’s recent troubles.

It turns out the Vocation Guild is having difficulty registering new members who want to become Warriors and Sorcerers. This is because the guild is missing enough supplies to items needed to “outfit these members.” These items are Greatswords and Archistaffs.

The end of this conversation marks the start of the Vocation Frustration quest. Yet before you finish talking to Klaus, he’ll suggest you seek out Roderick, who can provide details about a stolen shipment containing Greatswords and Archistaffs supposedly for the guild.

A marker on the map will guide you to Roderick’s Smithy in the Merchant Quarter.

At Roderick’s Smithy, speak with Roderick, who explains that goblins likely raided the oxcart transporting the weapon supply. The stolen equipment is probably stored in the goblins’ den found in Trevo Mine.

After your conversation, a new marker will appear on your map leading you to Trevo Mine found west of Vernworth.

Travel to Trevo Mine and search for the Greatsword and Archistaff inside it.

Once you’ve obtained both weapons, return to Klaus and hand them over. You can also buy or loot these items elsewhere as Klaus will actually accept any type of Greatsword or Archistaff.

Delivering both items to Klaus will unlock the Warrior and Sorcerer Vocations and complete the Vocation Frustration quest.
